Based on the award-winning 0999, the 0990 simplifies the design for a hard-working EDC with plenty of visual appeal. It is reliably strong thanks to its steel construction while retaining an exposed “floating bridge” near the top of the handle like the original. Carbon fiber scales with a front steel overlay are comfortable and robust with cutout windows in the blade and near the pivot for weight reduction. “Zero Tolerance” is subtly debossed into the back spacer for a clean look while the 20CV blade riding on KVT ball bearings delivers optimal performance with speed. The 0990 offers the best way to bring the legend of the 0999 to your pocket.

Blade: A classic ZT design, this harpoon drop point has a rugged stonewashed finish and stepped blade hole cutout for a striking look. A high saber grind and top swedge paired with the 20CV blade steel make for excellent daily carry performance while the KVT bearing pivot offers fast, smooth flipper deployment.

Handle: A polymer back spacer and stainless steel floating bridge support handsome carbon fiber handle scales with tumbled stainless steel overlays for a contoured feel in the hand. A pivot hole cutout echos the blade hole and complements the oneness of the floating bridge while reducing the overall weight. Ergonomic and secure the handle is equipped with an inset stainless steel liner lock for smooth, reliable operation and rock solid lock up.

CPM-20CV: CPM-20CV (analog to Bohler M390 and CTS-204P) is a premium powder metallurgy (PM) stainless steel with high carbide content for some of the highest edge retention and corrosion resistance while being relatively easy to sharpen. A popular choice for high-end production and custom knives. Relatively high carbide volume and coarse microstructure gives this steel lower toughness.
