Inspired by classic military combat knife design the Zero Tolerance 0223 was designed by Tim Galyean in homage to these venerable tools while offering the best in modern knife performance. The 0223 has a robust construction with modern, high performance materials. Comes with a black DLC coated titanium handle with brown G10 scales and a black DLC coated 20CV blade.

Blade: The clip-point profile blade is made from DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coated CPM 20CV steel which delivers the best combination of edge retention and corrosion resistance which is further enhanced by the DLC coating. The blade is also blasted which, combined with the DLC coating, offers a discreet, non-reflective finish. A KVT Bearing pivot construction delivers fast, smooth flipper deployment when you need. Milled holes in the blade and near the ricasso reduces the overall weight as well as providing visual appeal with a jimped spine for traction in the hand.

Handle: A full titanium frame lock construction handle with hardened steel lock face insert delivers reliable lockup and flawless operation. Earth brown G10 handle scales are milled to give the look and feel of the original military knife’s stacked leather handle while offering modern performance in durability and weather resistance. A bronze-anodized titanium tube spacer allows for inline lanyard attachment.

Carries via a reversible, tip-up only, stainless steel pocket clip.

CPM-20CV: A highly wear resistant, powder metallurgy stainless steel, CPM-20CV offers outstanding corrosion resistance and edge retention while still being relatively easy to sharpen by most accounts. CPM 20CV is similar in performance to Bohler M390 and CTS-204P and offers premium performance in an American made steel.
