Blade: Located at the bolster end of the handle is a satin finished carbon steel Sheepsfoot blade, large enough for nearly any task. The blade open with a solid half stop via a classic nail nick and has a full flat grind for optimal performance. A ‘Toenail Clipper’ etch adorns the front of the blade.

Handle: Flush fit to brushed nickel silver bolsters are Ebony wood covers with traditional brass liner and pin construction. This large knife has a full size handle for a solid, secure grip. An Elephant shield rides on the front cover while a strong stainless steel back spring delivers reliable slip joint operation. Each GEC knife ships in a sturdy tube with company information on the front. 

1095 Carbon Steel: Popular, simple carbon steel used extensively by production and custom knife makers. Low abrasive wear (edge retention) due to low carbide content and easy to sharpen to a fine edge. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care.
