Steel Will Sargas Satin D2 Black G10 Liner Lock Flipper F60-10

Another part of the Star Series from Steel Will, the Sargas retains many of the stylistic elements of the Shaula in a larger, more robust package. While being a more stout build the Sargas is still excellent for everyday carry, especially with the comfortable and ergonomic high-traction textured G10 handles and ball bearing pivot flipper deployment. This version comes with a satin finished D2 Tool Steel blade, black G10 and blue spacers.

Blade: The D2 tool steel blade is capable of some serious cutting with a tall, +3.5 mm thick blade equipped with a high flat grind for solid slicing performance. The blade retains good thickness out to the tip of the clip point offering a solid tip for good piercing and detail work. It opens smoothly on a stainless steel ball bearing pivot via the index flipper tab. Jimping on the spine provides added traction for heavier cutting tasks. The blade is finished in a fine satin for stylish look.

Handle: Clean, sweeping lines of the G10 handles give the knife a stylish look while still offering a generous, ergonomic grip with enhanced traction from the milled texture. Providing access to the stainless steel liner lock an index finger cutout also adds security in use paired with a generous guard in the form of the flipper tab. Operation of the lock is simple and offers a robust and secure lockup. An open back construction with barrel spacers delivers a lightweight folder that is easy to maintain. This version is finished with satin hardware and blue anodized barrel spacers and an inline pin for lanyard attachment.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. D2 has a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) which gives it greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels making it semi-stainless. D2 offers a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance for a good all-around knife steel.
