Spyderco Stovepipe Rydbom Stonewashed 20CV Titanium Frame Lock Folder C260TIP

David Rydbom of Kingdom Armory lends his eye for dramatic design to the Spyderco Stovepipe. Inspired by his “Bill the Butcher” design this cleaver blade folder has a rugged, industrial build with a thick titanium frame lock construction. Paired with the stout handle is a 4 mm thick 20CV blade with a deep hollow grind for slicing performance. Both blade and handle come equipped with a dark heavy stonewashed finish that is practical and appealing.

Blade: The heavy stonewashed finish on the stout cleaver blade hides wear and looks great while the deep hollow grind makes this a powerful slicer. The clip like sweep of the tip allows for precision in piercing and detail work and the deep scoop on the spine allows for comfortable thumb pressure for heavy cuts. Opens smooth on washers via the large ambidextrous Round Hole.

Handle: Titanium slabs and partial back spacer create the robust handle and are all decked out in a matching dark stonewashed finish. Finger grooves lend solid traction while stylistic milling and custom pivot hardware add visual appeal to this otherwise sparse design. The Reeve Integral Lock (R.I.L.) cut into the frame offers smooth operation and rock solid lockup for safe use. Includes nylon zipper pouch.

Carries via a right hand milled titanium pocket clip.

CPM-20CV: CPM-20CV (analog to M390 and CTS-204P) is a premium powder metallurgy (PM) stainless steel with high level edge retention and corrosion resistance. Relatively easy to sharpen, the coarse microstructure gives this steel lower toughness.
