Spyderco’s Endura, big sister to the Delica, has been a cornerstone of their everyday carry product line since its introduction in 1990. The 4th Generation of the Endura was upgraded with a 13 mm RoundHole, spine jimping, reinforced blade tip and a four-position screw on clip. This Hollow Saber Ground version comes with a plain edge, modified drop point, VG-10 blade and Stainless Steel handles.

Blade: Hollow Saber ground VG10 stainless steel comes in a modified drop point with a razor sharp plain edge and stunning satin finish. The hollow saber grind offers solid slicing performance while retaining good durability with the plain cutting edge delivers clean, razor-like cuts. Spyderco’s ambidextrous Round Hole opener makes for smooth, easy, one hand operation. Present as well is the jimped thumb ramp for added control in both fine and heavy work. Just under 3.5 inches of cutting edge makes this an excellent cutting tool you will want to have with you every day.

Handle: Solid stainless steel handles are durable and robust with contoured edges and an ergonomic design that delivers comfort in the hand until the job is done. Slim and flat, the stainless handles deliver a great heft in the hand and deliver a very fast draw from the pocket for deployment. A sturdy mid-back lock design is easy to operate and comes with the Boye Dent further enhancing the security by preventing accidental disengagement of the lock when gripping the handle with heavy pressure. A hole at the pommel end allows for easy lanyard attachment. Solid stainless steel construction makes this a rugged, low maintenance cutting tool.

Japanese VG10: VG-10 is a high-carbon stainless steel that takes a very good edge and holds it well. Popular with Japanese kitchen knife makers it is often hardened to 60-61 HRC. A popular choice for small pocket knives thanks to good edge holding and stain resistance VG10 works well with a high polished, acute edge for optimal slicing performance.
