A smaller version of designer Brian Nadeau’s popular Tempest, the Mini Tempest offers the same clean lines and flawless build quality in a more compact package ideal for daily carry. This version comes with a hand rubbed satin finished M390 Bowie style clip point blade, glass bead finished titanium and carbon fiber inlays.

Blade: Hand rubbed satin M390 is delivered in a stunning Bowie style clip point with stylish fullers, high flat grind and clip point swedge for exceptional performance. Ceramic bearings with ​hardened races paired with the SBD Integral detent provide for an exceptionally smooth and snappy deployment that will last. Jimping on the spine provides plenty of traction and extends to the front flipper tab for positive traction when opening. When open the flipper is cleanly hidden in the handle allowing the knife to retain a sleek look.

Handle: Contoured and matte glass bead blasted titanium slabs from the handle supporting handsome carbon fiber inlays and forming a reliable and rock solid integral frame lock. A hardened steel lock face makes for smooth operation and long term reliability and includes the SBD Integral detent detailed below. The minimalist handle design is ergonomic in a variety of grips and secure in the hand without the need for aggressive texture making it fast in the hand. Satin finished hardware rounds on the construction.

Carries via a right-hand milled titanium pocket clip.

SBD Integral Detent: A protrusion or nub extending from the steel insert fits into a pocket milled in the blade. This provides tension for deployment while being noticeably smoother in operation compared to a standard ball detent.

Bohler M390: Bohler M390 (analog to CPM-20CV and CTS-204P) is a premium powder metallurgy (PM) stainless steel with high level edge retention and corrosion resistance. A popular choice for high-end production and custom knives, M390 is relatively easy to sharpen, with toughness on par with 440C/154CM.
