RUIKE Hussar M121-TZ S35VN Titanium Frame Lock Flipper

The RUIKE Hussar is a sleek yet robust tactical EDC flipper and has been upgraded from the original liner lock P121 to the full-tilt, high performance M121. This version of the Hussar comes equipped with a blade of American CPM-S35VN and a full titanium frame lock construction with Beta Plus slide safety.

Blade: The blade is made from CPM-S35VN stainless steel with a high height saber grind offering excellent slicing performance while retaining durability. The blade is bead blast finished for a non-reflective matte gray look. A nearly full length top swedge delivers a fine tip for excellent control during detail work and powerful piercing capability of the upswept blade. The blade rides on a the ball bearing pivot and deploys fast and smooth via the index flipper tab.

Handle: The handles are simple and robust, constructed with solid slabs of milled and contoured titanium. Open back construction makes for easy cleaning and maintenance with dual pin and single standoff construction. The rear pin allows for inline lanyard attachment. The integral frame lock construction delivers smooth operation and reliable security during use thanks to the hardened steel lock face insert. Paired with the Beta Plus slide safety the Hussar delivers above average security. The handle has a matching matte gray bead blast finish.

CPM S35VN: was designed to offer improved toughness over CPM S30V. It is also easier to machine and polish than CPM S30V and the adjusted chemistry makes CPM S35VN about 15-20% tougher than CPM S30V without any loss of wear resistance. CPM S35VN’s improved toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping.
