Known for his exceptionally refined, well-crafted designs and blending traditional and modern elements, custom knife maker Enrique Pena has teamed up with Reate to deliver his production Pena X-Series. Produced with precision machining and premium materials, his custom Apache design offers something for users and collectors alike. This version comes equipped with the innovative KICKSTOP flipper, satin M390 blade and jigged titanium handles.

Blade: Machine satin grinds with hand rubbed flats give the powerful M390 Wharncliffe blade a striking look. Nearly full flat ground, the blade has a reverse Tanto point and long top swedge making it capable of handling a variety of tasks with ease. Riding on ceramic bearings over hardened stainless-steel washers, operation is reliably smooth with a well dialed in ceramic detent for decisive KICKSTOP flipper action.

Handle: Inspired by the classic single blade trapper, the sweeping handle consists of two thick titanium slabs with integral milled faux bolsters and a classic jigged texture milling. Contoured handles provide a comfortable, ergonomic grip, while the jigged texture provides added traction. One slab forms the frame lock mechanism, equipped with a hardened steel lock face for smooth, reliable operation for the life of the knife.

Carries via a right hand machined titanium pocket clip.

Bohler M390: Bohler M390 (analog to CPM-20CV and CTS-204P) is a premium powder metallurgy (PM) stainless steel with high level edge retention and corrosion resistance. A popular choice for high-end production and custom knives, M390 is relatively easy to sharpen, with toughness on par with 440C/154CM.

Lee Williams Kickstop: This innovative design delivers modern flipper deployment while retaining clean lines when the blade open. The free floating tab rotates into the handle upon deployment of the blade, hiding the flipper inside the handle.
