Microtech UTX-85 T/E Stonewashed M390 OD Green Tanto OTF Automatic 233-10OD

The Microtech UTX-85 (15% smaller than an Ultratech or 85% the size) is a compact yet capable double action out-the-front automatic. Based on the popular Ultratech, the more compact size makes for an even more ideal daily carry option. This version has an OD Green anodized aluminum handle and stonewashed M390 Tanto blade.

Blade: Equipped with a two-tone stonewashed/satin finish, the M390 blade has a plain cutting edge for clean slicing and a Tanto point for piercing strength and flat surface utility. Double action operation is fast, smooth, and reliable. Move the slide up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both the open and closed position to reduce wear.

Handle: The smooth hard anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle has chamfered edges creating a comfortable feel and pocket smooth transition. Several areas of machine-grooved jimping around the outside add traction for a secure grip. Construction is completed with proprietary hardware, glass breaker end and pocket clip with individual serial number/date of production. 

Carries via a stainless steel deep carry clip.

A popular choice for high-end production and custom knives, M390 is relatively easy to sharpen, with toughness on par with 440C/154CM.
