Microtech UTX-85 S/E Black M390 Pink Drop Point OTF Automatic 231-1PK

The Microtech UTX-85 (15% shorter than an Ultratech or 85% the size) is a compact yet capable double action out-the-front automatic. Based on the popular Ultratech, the more compact size makes for an even more ideal daily carry option. This version has a pink contoured handle and two-tone black M390, single edge drop point blade.

Blade: The utilitarian M390 drop point blade has a durable high saber grind and over 2.5 inches of versatile plain cutting edge. The grinds and fullers have a durable black Cerakote coating while the flats and spine are contrasting satin. Double action operation is fast, smooth, and reliable. Move the slide up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both the open and closed position to reduce wear.

Handle: The smooth, hard anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle has chamfered edges for comfort and smooth pocket transition. Strategic machined grooves around the handle edge add traction for a secure grip. Proprietary black hardware, glass breaker end and pocket clip with individual serial number/date of production round out the construction.

Carries via a right-hand stainless steel deep carry clip.

Bohler M390: Bohler M390 (analog to CPM-20CV and CTS-204P) is a premium powder metallurgy (PM) stainless steel with high level edge retention and corrosion resistance. A popular choice for high-end production and custom knives, M390 is relatively easy to sharpen, with toughness on par with 440C/154CM.
