The Microtech Knives Troodon out the front automatic knife is a substantial tool while still retaining a compact size that can be easily carried every day. This knife is elegant enough for dress carry while being a fully capable cutting tool. The Troodon is named after a bird-like dinosaur from the Campanian Age and is ready to strike. This version has a satin finished, M390 double edge blade and black hard anodized aluminum handle.

Blade: A symmetrical M390 dagger blade features milled fullers with horizontal satin flats and machine satin grinds for a striking look. Dual clean slicing plain cutting edges meet at the fine, piercing point. Double action automatic operation is fast, smooth, and reliable. Press the slide up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both positions to reduce wear.

Handle: Robust, hard anodized, aircraft-grade alloy offers just over 4.25 inches of grip area, substantial enough for large hands without becoming cumbersome in the pocket. The knife is comfortable in the hand, with contoured edges, while wide sections of milling and strategic edge jimping deliver a secure grip. Proprietary hardware, glass breaker end and pocket clip with production date and serial number complete the construction.
