Liong Mah Design Traveler Spear Point Carbon Fiber M390 Slip Joint

Responding to the requests of knife enthusiasts living in areas that have strict knife laws, Liong Mah developed the Traveler slip joint so that law abiding citizens can carry a pocket knife legally without sacrificing performance. The Traveler is a small slip joint with a utilitarian Spear Point blade made of satin finished M390 steel. The knife opens via dual fullers which make it fully ambidextrous with the reversible pocket clip. This version comes with Carbon Fiber inlaid Black G10 handles.

Blade: The flat ground, satin finished, M390 Spear Point blade offers exceptional cutting performance with minimal maintenance. Dual fullers reduce weight and offer ambidextrous operation. A detent slip joint delivers ease of operation and smooth, half-stop free, opening. A generous finger choil and spine jimping deliver control, traction and comfort in the hand.

Handle: The simple handle of the Traveler is a sandwich: inset titanium liners support G10 handle scales which are inlaid with gorgeous Carbon Fiber for the ultimate trifecta. A robust titanium backspacer protects the blade in the closed position and houses an inline lanyard pin if you want to increase the grip length.

Clip: Carries via an ambidextrous, tip-up only, deep carry titanium clip with ceramic tension ball.

Designed by Liong Mah and built to the tightest tolerances by David Deng of Reate Knives for optimal fit and finish. Includes a zipper pouch with patch and microfiber.

Bohler M390: Bohler M390 has become an extremely popular choice for high-end user grade knives thanks to its extreme edge retention. M390 also has a good corrosion resistance, meaning most users can avoid problems by simply wiping off their blade after each use. Another great feature of this steel is its ability to resist burr formation during sharpening. Comparable steels are CTS-204P and Duratech 20CV.
