Austrian Raimund Lhotak takes his trained precision as a typographer and designer and delivers it in his precision made custom knives, hand-built without the use of a cnc. Combining simple, utilitarian designs with premium materials, his modern folding and fixed blade knives are exceptional tools for daily carry and use in any environment. This back lock folder comes with an ATI 425 titanium alloy harpoon tip blade, Elforyn and Amboyna burl wood handle scales with fiber liners, and titanium back spring and hardware.

Blade: The powerful harpoon tip blade comes in a two-tone finish with hand rubbed satin flats and handsome, blasted grinds and dual fullers. A high flat grind and tip swedge give the tough, corrosion resistant ATI 425 titanium blade solid performance. Operation is smooth on bronze washers with two-hand operation via the blade fullers.

Handle: White and red fiber liners house the blade and back spring, both with matching orange peel texture, and support handsome Amboyna burl wood and Elforyn scales. Elforyn is a thermoformable resin based material used as an ethical substitute for genuine elephant ivory. It is tough, lightweight, weather resistant and looks great. Chamfered edges, milled grooves, a deep index choil and inline lanyard make for a comfortable and secure grip while tipping the scales at under 2.5 ounces. Includes a premium synthetic fleece lined microsuede pouch for storage.

ATI 425 Titanium Alloy: Developed for ballistic armor plate, ATI 425 is an alpha-beta titanium alloy with a high strength and excellent corrosion resistance comparable to 6Al-4V Grade 5 titanium. Edge holding and sharpening performance is similar to 1084 carbon steel with a spring temper (HRC~55).
