This version of the Launch 11 comes with a BlackWash CPM-154 blade and black anodized aluminum handle with bronze anodized titanium pivot ring.

Blade: With a relatively straight profile, the slim blade tapers gently to the subtle reverse Tanto point and has a continuous belly from tip to heel making it highly functional for both slicing and piercing. Offering a balance of durability and cutting performance the high saber grind pairs well with a rugged black oxide BlackWash finish that hides wear and is discreetly non-reflective. The blade opens at the touch of a button powered by a strong coil spring mechanism that deliver fast, reliable deployment.

Handle: With streamlined lines and contoured milling the black anodized aluminum handles are stylish and comfortable. A window cutout in the handle reduces weight and adds traction in the hand pairing with an index finger choil for a secure grip. The semi-integral construction creates closed back construction which keeps the blade protected when closed which a built-in lanyard tie off. Recessed milling houses the pivot with bronze anodized ring and button. This prevents unintentional deployment while allowing easy access to operate the rock solid and reliable button lock mechanism.

CPM-154: CPM-154 is a particle metallurgy version of 154CM that benefits from the refinement in the PM process providing it with an increase in toughness and easy of finishing. CPM-154 takes a very fine edge and is highly corrosion resistant. Edge retention is going to be on-par with CPM S30V while being easier to resharpen. A great all-around blade steel.
