KVT bearings make operation smooth with flipper fast deployment of the hybrid drop point blade, made from D2 tool steel for solid performance day in and day out. Blade: The hybrid drop point blade rides on a KVT bearing pivot for fast, ambidextrous flipper deployment. D2 tool steel provides enhanced edge retention while the rugged stonewashed finish hides wear from use. A nearly full flat grind balances durability and cutting performance and a faceted spine swedge tapers the blade to a fine point for piercing and detail work.

Handle: Textured black G10 scales ride on proud stainless liners for a comfortable, high traction grip with a contoured feel and slim carry. One liner forms the locking mechanism which is smooth, solid, and reliable for secure use. Open construction reduces weight and makes maintenance a breeze while custom pivot and a chain ring bolt lanyard hole add a touch of style.

D2 Tool Steel: Used as a die cutting steel since WW II, D2 offers a good combination of hardness and wear resistance with moderate toughness and stain resistance. High chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) gives D2 better corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels.
