The Hinderer Knives XM-18 3.5” is a precision-crafted hard-use tactical folder you can carry every day. It features an integral flipper tab and dual thumb studs for fast, easy operation in a mid-sized platform designed to fit most hands comfortably while handling nearly any task. Easy, one-hand operation and a reliable lock system are the foundation of the XM series. This version comes with a Working Finish CPM-S45VN Spanto blade, Battle Blue titanium frame and blue/black G10 scale.

Blade: Riding on the installed Tri-Way pivot bearings, the S45VN Spanto blade opens fast and smooth via the integral flipper or dual thumb studs. A high saber grind and modified tip deliver solid slicing and piercing performance balanced with durability. A full forward choil allows for excellent control, paired with spine jimping for traction. The blasted and tumbled Working Finish hides wear and is discreetly non-reflective.

Handle: Titanium frame and liner come in a matching Battle Blue, anodized Working Finish, that hides wear with style while the textured G10 scale and jimping provide a secure grip. Equipped with a steel lock face insert, the integral frame lock has solid lockup and smooth operation for safe use. The Hinderer LockBar Stabilizer, titanium clip insert and hardware make this a fully customizable modular design.

Carries via a right-hand titanium pocket clip.

CPM S45VN: An evolution in the S30-series of steels from Crucible, S45VN shows improved edge retention and corrosion resistance relative to S35VN a slight reduction in toughness. Also considered an upgrade to Elmax with similar edge retention but better hardness, corrosion resistance, toughness, and a finer carbide structure (better sharpness).

Tri-Way Pivot: The Tri-Way pivot features milled pockets in the blade and frame comes with smooth operating ball bearing pivot washers installed. By utilizing included steel spacers to fill those pockets, users can get a more classic feel with either nylon or bronze washers also included.
