The Maximus flipper from Rick Hinderer Knives is a throwback to classic tactical blades with dual guards, a symmetrical handle design and dagger style blade with a modern folder construction. Updated with the Tri-Way pivot system deployment is fast and smooth with a well dialed in detent for decisive action. This version comes with a single edge, bayonet grind blade of Working Finish CPM-20CV, a Battle Blue titanium frame and textured Red G10 overlays.

Blade: Working Finish CPM-20CV comes in a classic single edge bayonet grind with a false edge swedge for enhanced piercing and a high saber grind for strength and slicing. Tri-Way pivot bearing (installed) deliver smooth action with fast deployment via the ambidextrous flipper tab. Blasted and tumbled Working Finish is discreetly non-reflective and hides wear from use.

Handle: Thick titanium slabs house the blade and support textured G10 overlays forming a high traction symmetrical handle. Finger grooves, pommel jimping and dual guards deliver a secure grip while the integral frame lock provides solid lockup and for safe use. An open construction makes for easy cleaning and maintenance while reducing carry weight. Battle Blue (anodized Working Finish) slabs and clip complement the blade with rugged style.

Carries via a reversible titanium pocket clip.

CPM-20CV: CPM-20CV (analog to M390 and CTS-204P) is a premium powder metallurgy (PM) stainless steel with high level edge retention and corrosion resistance. Relatively easy to sharpen, the coarse microstructure gives this steel lower toughness.

Tri-Way Pivot: The Tri-Way pivot features milled pockets in the blade and frame comes with smooth operating ball bearing pivot washers installed. By utilizing included steel spacers to fill those pockets, users can get a more classic feel with either nylon or bronze washers also included.
