The Mini Covert Auto is the most compact member of this internationally best-in-class folding tactical knife family. Based on the timeless Applegate-Fairbairn design this compact version has been upgraded with S30V steel blade steel and a spring-loaded automatic release that rapidly deploys the blade with the touch of a button. Black aluminum handles are rugged, discreet and light weight for excellent every day carry and performance.

The Blade: The iconic dagger profile of the Applegate-Fairbairn design is executed with a single, razor sharp cutting edge and a subtle swedge for enhanced piercing. The Mini Covert has a high height saber grind that offers enhanced slicing for more utility while still being very strong. The S30V blade is black coated and laser marked with Applegate and Fairbairn’s signatures. Fine jimping on the spine helps with indexing and enhances traction. The steel button provides rapid automatic deployment at a touch.

The Handle: The compact 6061 Aluminum scales are Type III Anodized Black and are milled for traction. The Mini Covert Auto is fast in the hand and comfortable in most grip positions thank to the neutral design. Double choils offer optimal security and control. A simple slide safety adds additional security, arresting the lock in both open and closed positions. Slide the safety to ‘red’ and you are ready for operation. A hole is provided for lanyard attachment and it carries via a black, deep carry stainless steel pocket clip (right hand, tip-down only).
