A seamless blend of traditional and modern aesthetics, the Fox Knives Livri builds on the framework of a classic slip joint folder while utilizing current high performance materials for the blade and handle. This version comes with a Sheepsfoot blade in satin finished, Bohler M390 stainless steel with Green Canvas Micarta handle scales.
Brand new, direct from Fox Knives.
Blade:Â Satin finished M390 in a high saber ground, Sheepsfoot profile offers modern performance with a classic look. Lacking a nail nick, the blade retains a clean look while being easy to open thanks to the height of the blade. Striking a good balance of performance and durability, the high saber slices with ease with plenty of bellies for utility. A top swedge enhances piercing and fine work performance, tapering the blade to the tip while the satin finish delivers a handsome look. Jimping on the spine and a generous ricasso help enhance the safety along with a relatively strong back spring.
Handle:Â Minimalist and elegant, the sweeping handle is made from linerless Green Canvas Micarta for a classically rugged yet stylish look and warm feel in the hand. Satin stainless steel hardware attaches the handles to the matching back spring which offers smooth, slip joint operation with a solid half stop for security. Includes an Italian leather slip for carry.
No clip.
Bohler M390: Bohler M390 (analog to CPM-20CV and CTS-204P) is a premium powder metallurgy (PM) stainless steel with high level edge retention and corrosion resistance. A popular choice for high-end production and custom knives, M390 is relatively easy to sharpen, with toughness on par with 440C/154CM.
