CIVIVI Durus C906B Brown G10 Satin D2 Liner Lock Flipper

The CIVIVI Durus C906 is a compact, stout, utility folder that punches above its weight with a hollow ground, drop point blade and comfortable milled and contoured G10 handles. This version comes with Brown G10 handle scales, stainless steel liners and a satin finished D2 tool Steel blade.

Blade: The simple drop point blade is made from beautifully satin finished D2 tool steel executed with a full length swedge and hollow grind. The blade grinds lend the Durus to both heavy, utility work as well as finer detail work. The full size finger choil offers excellent control for fine work. A steel ball bearing pivot offers fast, smooth operation of the blade via the index flipper tab.

Handle: Stainless steel liners support functional contoured Brown G10 handle scales with milled texture. The contoured design is comfortable and secure in the hand while the milled texture enhances traction working with the ergonomic handle design for a solid grip. The stainless steel liner lock is smooth, simple and reliable for operation with jimping for enhanced traction. A generous hole is provided for lanyard attachment.

Carries via a reversible, tip-up, stainless steel deep carry pocket clip.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. D2 has a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) which gives it greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels making it semi-stainless. D2 offers a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance for a good all around knife steel.
