The Sebenza 31 is an update to the time-tested and proven design of the classic Sebenza 21. Updated features include a Ceramic Ball Interface frame lock, off-set clip, improved ergonomics, full front inlay and tighter tolerances from improved machining processes. Sebenza means “work” in Zulu, and the heirloom quality model 31 will see plenty of work over its lifetime. The Small 31 is a capable yet carry friendly size. This version comes with a stonewashed CPM Magnacut Insingo blade and sandblasted titanium handles.

Blade: The CPM Magnacut modified Sheepsfoot ‘Insingo’ blade deep hollow grind offering exceptional slicing performance, extended blade life and solid durability. Beautifully stonewashed, the blade is ready for use with a classy crowned spine, single titanium thumb lug, and subtle tip swedge. The oversize bronze washer pivot delivers smooth, hydraulic operation.

Handle: Matte sandblast finished, the 6AL4V titanium handle slabs are matte gray with a subtle texture that will wear to a unique patina over time. A Reeve Integral Lock utilizes the titanium frame to provide “bank vault” lockup, while the Ceramic Ball Interface increases lock reliability and life while delivering smooth operation. Included is a single tube of fluorinated grease, microfiber cloth and information packet.

CPM-MagnaCut: Developed by metallurgist Larrin Thomas (Knife Steel Nerds) MagnaCut is a powder metallurgy steel designed to deliver balanced high-performance with high hardness (up to 65 Rc), similar toughness to CPM-4V, and corrosion resistance better than M390, similar to LC200N. Sharpening is relatively easy, between CPM-154 and S35VN/S45VN. For an all around steel Magnacut is tough to beat.
