The Sebenza 31 is an update to the time-tested and proven design of the classic Sebenza 21. Updated features include a Ceramic Ball Interface frame lock, off-set clip, improved ergonomics, full front inlay and tighter tolerances from improved machining processes. Sebenza means “work” in Zulu, and the heirloom quality model 31 will see plenty of work over its lifetime. This Large Sebenza 31 comes with a stonewashed CPM MagnaCut Insingo blade and sandblasted titanium handles.

Blade: The modified Sheepsfoot “Insingo” blade has a deep hollow grind offering exceptional slicing performance, extended blade life and solid durability with a durable tip for piercing. Beautifully stonewashed, the premium CPM MagnaCut blade is rugged and ready for use with a classy crowned spine and single thumb lug set up for right-handed use. The oversize bronze washer pivot delivers smooth, hydraulic operation.

Handle: Ergonomically enhanced, matte gray sandblasted 6AL4V titanium handle slabs have a subtle texture and develop a unique patina with time and carry. The Reeve Integral Lock utilizes the titanium frame to deliver “bank vault” lockup, while the Ceramic Ball Interface enhances reliability, lock life and provides smooth operation. Includes a tube of fluorinated grease, microfiber cloth and information packet.

CPM-MagnaCut: Developed by metallurgist Larrin Thomas (Knife Steel Nerds) MagnaCut is a powder metallurgy steel designed to deliver balanced high-performance with high hardness (up to 65 Rc), similar toughness to CPM-4V, and corrosion resistance better than M390, similar to LC200N. Sharpening is relatively easy, between CPM-154 and S35VN/S45VN. For an all around steel MagnaCut is tough to beat.
