The Case Knives Kinzua flipper is a contemporary EDC folder inspired by the shapes of classic Japanese swords. As part of the Modern Everyday Carry line the Kinzua frame lock offers Case quality and American production with premium materials and fast flipper deployment on a ball bearing pivot. This version comes with a stonewashed CPM-S35VN spear point blade and blue anodized aluminum handle.

Blade: The CPM-S35VN spear point blade provides balanced toughness and performance in a classic utilitarian profile. Tapering toward the tip, the drop profile blade is easy to control for fine while delivering solid strength for heavy use. A ball bearing pivot makes for smooth operation and fast deployment via the index flipper tab.

Handle: Dual slabs of lightweight, anodized aluminum connected with barrel spacers create an easy to maintain open back construction. Heavy contours provide comfort in the hand with plenty of real estate for a solid grip and a stylish look. An index cutout pairs with the flipper tab guard for added safety on this. The steel lock face of the aluminum frame lock gives smooth operation and reliable lockup for safe use.

CPM-S35VN: Modified CPM-S30V designed for improved toughness (15-20%) and ease of machining and polishing. Well-balanced for daily use, S35VN has a slight decrease in edge retention and higher corrosion resistance, close to AISI 420.
