Blade: Just under 3 inches of razor sharp cutting edge are provided on the flat ground blade to handle all but the most extreme cutting tasks. With a leaf-spear profile, the blade is utilitarian and functional for a variety of tasks from breaking down boxes to food prep. A comet shaped hole opener makes for easy and ambidextrous, one-hand operation with smooth bronze washer action. The fine satin finish is stylish and functional, enhancing slicing performance.

Handle: Durable FRN handles are equipped with a molded, bi-directional texture in a black colorway and smoothed around the edges for a comfortable grip. It has a forward choil for control in fine cutting tasks or heavy work. Inset, skeletonized steel liners add support for a rock solid foundation along with secure Torx hardware. The robust lock back mechanism keeps the blade secure in both the open and closed positions.

8Cr13MoV: Similar to Japanese AUS-8, 8Cr13MoV is a low carbon, high chromium stainless steel with an excellent balance of toughness and strength. It offers good corrosion resistance and is capable of acquiring a razor sharp edge. Edge holding is significantly lower than S30V but close to 440C. Sharpening should be a breeze.
