Blade: Tough, 420HC stainless steel is delivered in an every day utility clip point profile with a working tumbled finish. The blade rides on a ball bearing pivot and deploys via the integral index flipper while exceptional speed and smoothness. A thumb scoop on the blade offers a comfortable spot for putting pressure on the spine while the clip point and mid-height hollow grind deliver a great balance of slicing and piercing performance while maintaining durability.

Handle: Full stainless steel liners create the foundation while contoured and textured GFN scales make for a comfortable, secure grip. The use of Glass Filled Nylon delivers a tough, light weight and weather resistant handle and keeps the Buck Sprint affordable for the performance. The generous handles should fit easily into most small to medium sized hands. The sturdy liner locking mechanism in the handle is easy to use and provides secure lockup.

420HC Stainless Steel: 420HC is a stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough for a stainless steel. With BOS heat treat from Buck it is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
