Blade: The blade of the Impact is CPM S30V in a utilitarian drop point pattern equipped with a durable, poly-ceramic Armor Black Cerakote. The coating is tough, corrosion resistant and non-reflective for discreet use. The blade sports a hollow grind and nearly full length swedge making the Impact powerful slicing and piercing performance. The Paul Bos heat treated S30V delivers optimal performance in edge retention and corrosion resistance for extended, worry free use. The button operated automatic action is fast and decisive.

Handle: A stainless liner construction forms the foundation for the Cerakote coated aluminum handle scales with textured inlays for traction in the hand. The plunge lock mechanism deploys the blade and provides reliable, secure and intuitive operation. A slide safety prevents unintentional deployment when carrying the Impact and adds a double lock when used when open. A simple “red/silver” color code lets you know when the knife is ready to deploy or in “safe” mode.

CPM-S30V: A martensitic, powdered stainless steel with high levels of wear and corrosion resistance. Its chemistry promotes the formation and even distribution of vanadium carbides, which are harder and more effective at cutting than chromium carbides.
