Blade: The drop point profile blade is made of high quality, German Stainless steel with a high polish finish and shallow hollow grind. The blade is highly corrosion resistant and the thin stock and hollow grind deliver excellent slicing performance for everyday tasks. The hollow grind makes pinch-grip opening of the blade easy even without a nail nick.

Handle: Construction is minimal, functional and elegant: brass liners support polished nickel silver bolsters which are flush fit to Tru-Stone covers with a Tree Brand shield adorning the front. Tru-Stone is a US made composite consisting of 85% natural stone combined with acrylic resin for the elegant look of natural stone, while being more durable and less brittle. The knife sports a back lock mechanism for security in use and smooth operation.

4034 Stainless Steel: Also known as 1.4034, 4034SS is similar in performance to 420 stainless offering reasonable hardness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance with proper heat treat. Tough for a stainless steel due to low carbide content.
