Blade: Slim and sleek, the Talpid has a spear point blade with a long top swege and shallow hollow grind which deliver exceptional piercing and slicing capability. The blade is satin finished D2 tool steel which offers a good balance of performance and deploys via an index flipper for fast, smooth operation.

Handle: CNC machined, 3D stainless steel handles deliver a dynamic look and great traction in the hand as well as being very durable. Barrel spacers provide an open construction for ease of cleaning and maintenance while the integral frame lock offers smooth operation and solid, reliable lockup for secure use.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. D2 has a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) which gives it greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels making it semi-stainless. D2 offers a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance for a good all-around knife steel.
