John Kubasek is known for his unusual and ultra flat design and the Boker Plus Slyde-R is no exception. About the size of a credit card, most of the Slyde-R is a slab of milled G10 which houses the razor thin blade. The blade tracks on a groove down the center that allows for the button slide, which acts as deployment method and double lock, to pass through. The Slyde-R has a satin finished 440C blade and Black G10 handle for ultralight performance.

Blade: The tall, satin finished blade of the Slyde-R is just over 1 mm thick and chisel ground for durability and amazing slicing performance. A clip point profile provides enough point for piercing while the blade deploys out the front via the button slide mechanism for intuitive, one-hand operation.

Handle: The handle of the Slyde-R is a simple, card sized slab of Black G10 milled to house the blade while delivering a thin, compact foot print. The handle offers a full grip for light work while the innovative spring button lock keeps the blade secure in both the open and closed positions. The Slyde-R comes with a stainless steel ball chain for carry.

440C Stainless Steel: 440C sets the bar by which corrosion resistance of all other stainless steels are measured against. It offers excellent corrosion resistance, good edge retention and easy sharpening.
