Designed by Andre Schröter of Midgards knives, the Sigyn is an ultra lightweight, stout neck knife with a compact and ergonomic design. Midgards knives is known for their use of digital files that allow users to customize their knives by 3D printing scales at home. The Sigyn comes equipped with textured black G10 scales over red liners and a satin finished, D2 tool steel blade.

Blade: A simple and classic drop point blade comes in satin finished D2 tool steel with a high saber grind for balanced performance and durability and large dual fullers for style and weight reduction. Two types of jimping on the spine allow for indexing and traction for added security in use. The bottom of the blade forms an integral guard for a secure grip.

Handle: Supported by the full tang are textured black G10 scales over red liners that deliver a solid three finger grip making the hold on the knife solid even under stress. The scales can be removed via the stainless Torx hardware for cleaning and maintenance or for replacement with custom scales. A hole at the pommel allows for lanyard attachment for added grip area.

Carries via a custom molded Kydex sheath with steel ball chain for neck carry.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. With a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) D2 offers greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels. With a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance D2 is a well-balanced, all around knife steel.
