Simon Frömel designed the Boker Plus Rescue Kiridashi as a compact, ultralight emergency back-up knife that offers multiple carry options and provides a stellar function-to-weight ratio. Skeletonized 440C construction offers a durable, low maintenance platform that is engineered for security and control in the hand during use. The hollow ground Wharncliffe blade is highly utilitarian while the dedicated belt cutter offers a safer option in adverse scenarios.

Blade: The 440C Wharncliffe blade has a shallow hollow grind that offers good slicing and piercing with optimal durability. The spine of the blade features a dedicated belt cutter for safe emergency use while a full stone wash finish hides wear from use.

Handle: The full tang handle is skeletonized for weight reduction and traction with strategic jimping, thumb scoop and index finger hole enhanced security and exceptional control for precise cuts. Designed for a three-finger grip, the knife is secure and comfortable while offering a compact footprint for discreet carry on the belt or as a neck knife. Paracord can be added easily for enhanced comfort in the hand with minimal change to the footprint.

Carries via a custom molded Kydex sheath with belt clip and stainless ball chain for neck carry.

440C Stainless Steel: 440C sets the bar by which corrosion resistance of all other stainless steels are measured against. It offers excellent corrosion resistance, good edge retention and easy sharpening.
