Designed by French custom knife maker Charles de Buyer, the Boker Plus Islero distills the knife down to the minimal essentials with a solid steel construction for the blade and handle and nothing more. Stonewashed D2 is executed with clean and ergonomic lines creating a slim profile that makes carry a breeze. Paired with a secure Kydex sheath, the Islero is ready for daily carry and use.

Blade: The D2 tool steel blade comes in a utilitarian drop point with spear like top swedge and durable high saber grind. While slim and scalpel like, the blade is very robust with a 4.7 mm thickness making it capable of some serious use. A rugged stonewashed finish hides wear from use and a distinctive blade cutout adds visual appeal while reducing the weight.

Handle: The simple handle is conveniently an extension of the blade with clean, ergonomic lines and an index cutout and thumb scoop for security in the hand without the addition of jimping or scales. The handle maintains a slim profile for comfortable carry and fits well in multiple grips for added versatility. A small hole is added for lanyard attachment.

Carries via a custom molded Kydex sheath with belt clip.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. With a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) D2 offers greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels. With a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance D2 is a well-balanced, all around knife steel.
