Blade: Deploying via a button operated coil spring mechanism, the 9400 retains the utilitarian reverse Tanto blade profile, built to tackle your daily cutting tasks, bringing ultra-fast, one handed deployment. Satin finished CPM-S30V delivers a good balance of durability and slicing performance thanks to the high saber grind and top swedge with enhanced durability at the tip from the reverse Tanto point for solid piercing performance.

Handle: Blasted and Green anodized 3D milled Aluminum handle scales are contoured for comfort and provide a lightweight, durable handle platform. Despite the lack of pronounced finger grooves or aggressive milling the blasted texture provides good traction for a secure grip. Neutral in design, the handle is comfortable in multiple grips for added versatility. Rock solid and reliable with rock solid lockup is provided by the intuitive and easy to use button lock mechanism which is recessed to avoid unintentional deployment. A slide safety offers added security in both the open and closed position while the purple anodized back spacer delivers a pop of high contrast color.

Carries via a reversible, tip-up stainless steel pocket clip.

CPM-S30V: A powdered stainless steel with high levels of edge retention and corrosion resistance S30V was developed specifically for use in knife blades. The powdered process gives it a very refined grain, improving the sharpness and toughness. S30V is a great, all around steel with high levels of performance.
